FAQ
Where are you based?
I live in Coominya QLD. Most of my weddings are in South East Queensland & Far North Queensland, but I’m available for weddings throughout Australia.
Will you travel for our wedding?
HECK Yeah! Mixing my passion for wedding photography and travel is a winning combination.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
If you’re getting married within 100kms of Coominya QLD, there will be no travel expenses applied to your package. Any other locations within Australia will incur a travel fee in addition to my package price.
How long does it take to recieve the photos after the elopement and how will those be delivered?
Around 48 hours after your wedding/elopement you will receive an online gallery with up to 15 sneak peeks, that you can share with family and friends, post on social media, etc. 3-4 weeks after that you will receive the entire photo collection and be able to order prints and/or an album from your gallery.
How many images can I expect to receive in my wedding gallery?
Expect to receive 600-800 images for a Full Day Wedding Package delivered on a secure online gallery. An Elopement Package can expect 150 - 300 images supplied on a secure online gallery.
We want to include our dog into the ceremony/session, is that okay?
More than okay, it’s an absolute must! Including your furry family members makes for such beautiful and fun memories. We can try to include your dog into the actual wedding ceremony, as well as the formal family portraits.
What if we want something more extreme for our elopement/session (hiking, diving, etc)?
No activities and locations are off the table. I love exploring, and although I'm not an avid hiker I am happy to climbing up hills to get that perfect shot or beautiful light (we may just need to include some stops to catch our breath!). If you have a more extreme or unusual idea for your elopement/session, I’d love to hear it and see how we can bring it to life. The more details you share, the better we can plan it.
We're really awkward in front of the camera.. we're camera shy! Is that okay?
No problem, I'm here to capture those candid moments. Most of the time you won't know I'm taking photos, or you'll be so engaged with each other that everything will seem natural. I won’t pose you; I’ll direct you.
How much coverage do we need?
This question is determined by your vision for your day and what you would like to have captured.
To create a visual story of your entire day the sweet spot is around 10 hours. This way I can shoot you both getting ready right through to the reception where your guests are busting out their best dance moves on the dance floor!
Can I print my photos? Do I have the rights to do whatever I want with them?
You can do whatever you like with the images I give you – you can print until your heart is content. All packages include high-resolution files. I do however recommend having these printed at a professional print lab to ensure quality prints, which you have the option to do in your gallery store – however the decision is yours.
What's an 'unplugged wedding' and why should we have one?
An unplugged wedding really just refers to the ceremony, not the rest of the day. Usually, the celebrant will tell the guests to put their phones and cameras away for the ceremony. I absolutely think you should have an unplugged ceremony. There are a few good reasons to do this:
- So your guests don’t get in my way, meaning that I won’t miss the really lovely photo opportunities that you’ve paid me to shoot
- So when you look out at your guests during the ceremony, you’ll see them sharing your wedding with you, rather than see their faces hidden behind mobiles and cameras
You'll get hungry after taking all those photos at my wedding, I imagine. Want us to provide a meal for you?
If you are planning to hire me for a package of 4 hours or more, that would be lovely. I'm happy to sneak out in another room or you can put me on a table with your guests (I'd love to meet your closest family and friends).
We'd like to book you, what do we do now?
Head to the 'Contact' page and fill in the contact form. Feel free to give me a call at any stage too.
